I would say people like us have gotten the attention of their legal department as this suit contains a very careful rewording that is much more accurate and acceptable to us LEGIT FTA USERS. Its a start, if only the words were a little smaller so the idiots at Nagra/Satcams could understand.

28. FTA receivers are similar in appearance to EchoStar Technologies’ receivers but FTA
receivers were originally not intended to decrypt signals without authorization; instead,
they were intended to be utilized for the viewing of satellite signals which were not
encrypted and which were not subject to a marketing scheme on the part of the
proprietor of the signals.
29. FTA receivers are today manufactured and sold by several companies under various brand
names including “Ariza”, “Pansat”, “Coolsat”, “Dreambox”, “Viewsat”, “Sonicview”,
“nFusion”, “Mvidia”, “Captain” , “Kbox”, “Neosat”, “Neusat”, and “CaptiveWorks”
to name a few.
30. There were and still are numerous FTA satellite television channels available in
the United States which carry the programming that is offered to the viewing public in an
unencrypted manner (“Free to Air”), including many ethnic, religious, business, music,
information, and advertisement channels. FTA channels and FTA receivers have existed
for many years.
31. The satellite signals for the FTA satellite television channels are transmitted utilizing
different frequencies from the signals that carry the encrypted, pay satellite services such
as DISH Network. Additionally, the FTA satellite signals are transmitted at a much
lower power than the signals which carry the encrypted, pay satellite services such as
DISH Network.
32. The differing frequencies and power between the signals of the true FTA satellite
signals which carry the programming that is offered to the viewing public in an
unencrypted manner and the signals of the encrypted, pay satellite services is such that
for the reception of true FTA satellite signals the recipient would need an entirely
different type of satellite dish antenna.
